The Rock the Big Bells is a celebration of rock, blues, jazz, reggae and alternative music in which acts will perform for hundreds of thousands of people, along the Hudson River and the Atlantic Ocean.
The festival is part of the Rock Your Neighborhood initiative, a joint effort by the New Jersey Department of Health and the Garden State Regional Planning Council.
The Rock The Big Bell is a non-profit organization established in the mid-1990s by the Garden City, New Jersey, Department of Community and Economic Development and the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.
It has grown to more than 1,300 events annually and is one of the state’s largest outdoor festivals.
The 2017 festival attracted more than 150,000 people to the Garden County Fairgrounds, which is in West Brunswick, N to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Garden Bridge.
The event was previously scheduled to be held at the Nassau County Coliseum in Manhattan.
