We were told that the Eclipse Salon in the South Bronx was a “reflection salon,” but I don’t know about you, but I’m not into that sort of thing.
I mean, why not get some sparkly nail polish for the price of a bar of soap?
The salon offers a variety of styles of nail art, from a black and white “nails by an artist” to a red-carpet-inspired “nail art” that comes in different sizes.
And yes, they do offer a wide range of services, including nail treatments and manicures.
In a perfect world, you’d pay $100 for a bottle of water, but if you can afford it, this is probably your best option.
(Also, you could probably afford to skip the manicure, since the salon is actually pretty pricey.)
The Eclipse Salon is located at 2127 East 96th Street in the Financial District.
For more information on the Eclipse, see its website.
