A curly hair salon in Atlanta, Georgia, has opened its doors to the public after it was purchased by a local woman.
Curly Hair Salon in Southside will have three floors, a full kitchen and a full bar.
According to a press release from the Atlanta Business Chronicle, owner and founder Shannon Lee, who’s also the owner of Curly Curls, said in a statement that she plans to make the space more accessible and more comfortable to all customers.
“Curly Hair is a place for curlers to connect with people from all walks of life,” Lee said.
“We are grateful for all the support we have received from our community.
Our curlers are excited to share our newest venture with the city and our customers, and look forward to welcoming new customers.”
Curly’s staff, who also includes founder and CEO Angela Lee, will work to transform the space into a salon for women who like to stay in style.
According the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the new owners of the salon are looking for a location that’s close to the Atlanta airport, and a location with good weather.
They’re looking to open in mid-December.
